Faith is very important to both Jeannie and I. We believe faith is somethign that builds character, for us it's linked with charity which is at it's root is love.
We didn't want to have a traditional christening because faith will be Thatchers choice, how his faith will look to him will develop overtime by his own doing.
For us the blessing was about a promise to show him the love we have for him, by showing him our faith and showing him the kindness we have for others and the compassion we have for various social issues and social needs.
Plus, it was a reason for T-Max to sport a bow tie.
